BSNL 2.21GB additional daily data offer now available till June

NEW DELHI: Fierce competition in the telecom industry is compelling telecom operators to give best possible offers in order to keep their subscribers hooked. Now, the state-owned telecom operator BSNL is extending one of its existing offer in order to give competition to Reliance Jio.

BSNL rolled out an additional 2.21GB data for its GSM prepaid subscribers. The service provider introduced this offer in January and has now extended it till June 30. This is not the first time that BSNL has announced the extension of its additional data plan.

To recall, the telecom operator announced the extension of its 2.21GB additional data to prepaid subscribers back in January. The telco offer 2.21GB data in addition to the FUP data limit associated with the recharge plans used by the subscribers. Earlier the operator announced the extension till April 30 and no it has further extended it by two months.

Along with the extension of the plan, the company has also announced a list of STV plans with which the customers can avail this additional data offer. As announced by the telecom operator with the prepaid plan of Rs 186 the customers will now get 3.21GB data daily in place of the 1GB data.

Same is with the plan of Rs 429. Earlier users used to get 1GB data per day but with the additional data offer they will get 3.21GB data per day. The other plans of Rs 485, Rs 666, Rs 349, Rs 399, Rs 447 and Rs 1,699 can also be clubbed with this additional data offer.

Recently, BSNL announced that it is discontinuing the online recharge plans of Rs 10 and Rs 20. As reported by Telecom Talk, both the plans of Rs 10 and Rs 20 are not available online for recharge. Recently, both Airtel and Vodafone also removed the basic recharge plans of Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 30, Rs 50, Rs 100 and Rs 500 from their product portfolio.
