Telecom operator Airtel has announced free Amazon Prime membership for its prepaid customers. The benefit comes bundled with prepaid plan of Rs 299 that offers unlimited calling, 2.5GB data per day and 100 SMS per day. This ‘industry first’ move comes as part of its revamped customer Thanks program – #AirtelThanks.
The program now offers benefits in three different levels — Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each tier provides different sets of benefits for Airtel customers, the company said in a press statement.
As part of the Silver tier, Airtel customers will get access to AirtelTV, Wynk. Gold tier customers can avail telecom benefits along with premium content and financial services. With Platinum, users will get VIP service for Airtel, premium content, e-books, device protection and exclusive invites along with priority access to events and sales.
The program is powered by the app re-named “Airtel Thanks”. Using the app, customers can choose, access and navigate through these benefits.
